Community Memorial Health Center is contracted with the  Veteran’s Administration to help give our Veterans a place to call home.

 

There are three main types of nursing home care for eligible Veterans; Mill Bill (short or long-term) Nursing Home Authorization, Hospice Nursing Home Authorization, and Respite Nursing Home Authorization.

 

Mill Bill (short or long-term) Nursing Home Authorization

• A Veteran must be enrolled in the VA.

• A Veteran must need nursing home level of care.

• A Veteran must reach a qualified percent of service connected.

 

Hospice Nursing Home Authorization

• A Veteran must be enrolled in the VA.

• A Veteran must have updated eligibility paperwork completed.

• A Veteran must be enrolled in a hospice program.

 

Respite Nursing Home Authorization

• A Veteran must be enrolled in the VA.

• A Veteran must have primary care established.

• A Veteran must have updated eligibility paperwork completed.
